Salary/Pay and Grade Pay - For director post, the payable salary will be Rs 67,000 - 79,000 (HAG Level). Further more information about salary details as post wise is mentioned in detailed advertisement.

Educational Qualifications - For wihg recruitment candidate must have done 10th, 12th, graduation degree, post graduation degree, Ph.D in sciences related to earth system with original published work of high standard / demonstrated evidence through scientific output in area of Himalayan Geo-sciences / evidence of high professional eminence by way of recognition's like fellowships of academies, national awards of science etc or it's equivalent / relevant / higher qualification from a recognized board or university. Selection Method - For wihg vacancy, candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in personal discussion and interview conducted by committee. Candidates must be prepared for personal interview and discussion. There will be no written examination for director post.
